As we get ready for this Thanksgiving holiday I can't help but reflect on all the many things we are so thankful for. This November we used the chalkboard wall in our kitchen to write a list of things we are thankful for. The truth is there isn't a wall or list long enough to write all the things we are thankful for. We truly are so very blessed and we thank God everyday for these many blessings.
At the beginning of this month with the support and encouragement of my loving husband I decided to start this blog. It has been such a wonderful experience and I am so thankful for all of you who have followed along with me on this new journey. I have enjoyed spending this wonderful Holiday with you all and I look forward to continuing this journey with you.
As we move into the busy holiday season I wanted to bring you these words of wisdom that my family and friends have shared with me throughout the years.
* Take time everyday to reflect and be grateful for all the blessings you have little or small.
* Live every day like it's your last.
* Never go to bed angry.
* Sometimes God's "No" is not rejection, but redirection.
* Hug those you hold dear to you. Squeeze them a little bit tighter, hold them a little bit longer, and tell them you love them.
