Happy Friday! I am so excited this Friday because tomorrow morning we will be boarding our flight to Colorado! This week I'm sharing an awesome backpack/diaper bag that I'm bringing on our trip, some great summer deals and more...
One. On my Instagram stories this week I shared my new favorite backpack diaper bag that I will be taking with us on our trip. I shared about it on the Five on Friday a few weeks ago and now that I've ordered one I thought I would share it again. I LOVE this bag! I plan on using it for a purse/diaper bag/ work bag. You can find the link here. I paid $35.99 for mine and the color will either say pink or orange. They're the same and are more of a salmon color rather than pink or orange.
Two. SALE! SALE! When it comes to toddler clothes or shoes I hate paying a fortune for them. In fact, I refuse to unless they are so unbearably cute (which hasn't happened yet). The other day (actually a couple days this week) Ava and I had a mommy daughter shopping trip to find her some new clothes and shoes for our trip and for daycare when she returns in August. Right now the Converse stores have 50% off all their clearance shoes. We went to the one in Orlando and they didn't have much of anything. The other day we checked out their store at the Outlet mall in Wesley Chapel and they had so many cute shoes on clearance. I bought her two pairs for $13.00 each! Also, Walmart has some cute Jelly shoes for $5.00! Oh, and the Children's Place has a HUGE SALE going on. I bought her both of these dresses for $6.00 each and some shorts and shirts for $3.99. This momma loves a good sale!
Three. Another great find I found this week was this chunk pad filled with LOTS of empty white pages for Ava to color on. She has really been into coloring lately so I plan on bringing this with us on the plane tomorrow. I found all of the items pictured below at Target.
Four. Flying Tip. A few months ago on a morning show they were talking about some traveling tips. One of the tips I took away that we are using for our flight is to have a piece of printer paper in each bag you check with your name, address and phone number. Often times the tags on the outside of the luggage fall off or tear during the transition process and causes luggage to be lost.
Five. Holy HERBS! Ya'll! I have never been able to grow herbs, especially basil! Now look at my herbs! What did I do differently? Well the tag that comes with them says to water twice a week (something like that), but here in Florida I've learned you practically have to water them almost every day. If only I could get my rosemary to grow a little more. Maybe it doesn't like basil or oregano? I will have to research. Also, I'm about to spend some time on Pinterest looking ways to use all of this basil and oregano. Any ideas?
Six. Bonus today! So I will be sharing about our trip to Boulder, Colorado on my Insta Stories and Facebook. I've included my social media links below if you'd like to follow along.
Happy Friday Everyone!
