If you didn't get a chance to make some for Thanksgiving don't worry. It is never too late to make some to go with your left over turkey. This cranberry sauce is perfect to go on a turkey sandwich or even on a sausage biscuit. I think today I am going to have a spinach salad with some left over fried turkey, feta cheese and a dollop of this cranberry sauce. No dressing needed!
Last year was my first time making homemade cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving. I used to love the canned cranberry sauce but now after making this and discovering how EASY it is I will never go back to canned cranberry sauce.

In a medium sized saucepan over medium heat, dissolve the sugar in the orange juice. Stir in the cinnamon and cranberries and cook until the cranberries start to pop (about 10 minutes). Remove from heat and let cool. Cranberry sauce will thicken as it cools. Store in a tight sealed container in the refrigerator.
