Here are some gifts that Ava received for her first birthday that I thought would make great gifts for young toddlers. She has enjoyed playing with all of them!
4 in 1 Stroll N' Trike: Ava has loved this! We use it for walks in our neighborhood and sometimes take it to the stores with us to use in replace of the stroller. It fits very easily in our car.
ABC's and #1-10 counting ball: This is a fun educational toy. It's soft and easy to grab onto. Ava loves throwing it around and hearing the letters or numbers called out.
Drum Set: This drum set is light weight and comes with many different instruments that are perfect for toddlers. They all make noise but not too much noise, so they are easy on the ears.
Mega Blocks: My brother is a lego fanatic and bought Ava these mega blocks for her birthday. She loves putting them together and taking them apart.
Stacking Blocks: Ava loves stacking these blocks. My favorite thing about these is that they are made out of cardboard so they aren't loud once the tower falls and hits the tile floor.
Squigz: We actually bought these for Ava before she turned one. They have been wonderful to have. We use them when we go out to eat to keep her entertained when she is done eating. They stick to most hard surfaces. They have also worked as teethers.
Tunnel, Tent and Ball Pit: All three of these come together as a set. My favorite part is you can attach them together or use them separately. Before putting our tree up this year we had the ball pit in our living room for a while. (Balls sold separately.)
Tea Set: Ava loves this little talking tea set. It is perfect for little girls.
Car Keys: Our neighbor gave these keys to Ava for her birthday. They make such cool car sounds. We keep them in the car to keep her entertained while on the road.
Mama Book: I think books are always a great idea! Ava has this Dada book and LOVES it! Of course her first word was Dada and she says Dada ALL THE TIME. So this year for Christmas Santa will be getting her the Mama book.
