Our three day weekend started off with a visit to my MFM doctor in Orlando...
The appointment went really well. My mom went with me and we got to see baby girl. I guess the office just received 4D software the day before and my technician wanted to try it out so we were able to see a 4D picture of her. It was so cool! We discovered she loves to chew on her little toes and has her momma's pudgy nose. I'm so in love!
After my appointment we headed to Jason's Deli for some lunch. I ordered half a sandwich and a side salad from the salad bar. Well, they give you a plate for a "one time" use at the salad bar. Needless to say I filled that bad boy up!
On Saturday, Joey and I headed to Tampa for a lunch date with one of my dear friends and a trip to IKEA. We ate lunch at a place called, The Hall on Franklin. It's a collective eatery and such a cool place! I highly recommend checking it out.
On Sunday, we decided to paint the nursery. I went with a dark blue color and plan on bringing in lots of gold and other colors like apricot and maybe mint or something. Who knows! Right now my thoughts about it seem like a big modge podge of ideas
We also made some yummy mini pound cakes that day using these super cute bundt and loaf pans that my sister bought me for my birthday.
That night Uncle Andrew came over for dinner.
Yesterday, we were all off for MLK day. We spent the day running errands, baking cookies, and relaxing. I baked these delicious chocolate chip peanut butter cookies (bakery style) and ended up dropping the first batch in the oven once they were done cooking. I couldn't believe it! No worries, though we still ate them.
That's a wrap on our long weekend! Ready for the short week ahead.
