Hello everyone! I’m Anna. I’m. I’m a lover of all things southern, fried or antique. Believer in Jesus and a mom-taught, grandmother-taught, great-aunt taught baker. I’m a wife to Joey and a mom to our sweet daughter Ava with another baby girl on the way. Join me in my journey as I learn to balance life as a wife, mom and a baker.
A deeper look into my story…
I was born in Greenville, Mississippi and grew up in Orlando, Florida. I have an older sister, an older brother, a twin brother and two wonderful parents. I am a wife to my amazing husband Joey and a mother to our precious angel Ava. I graduated from Saint Leo University with a degree in Elementary Education. I took the leap from elementary school to middle school a few years ago and I’m currently a 6th grade ELA teacher. I have been teaching for 10 years.
In the fall of 2012 I met the love of my life at the Bushnell Fall Festival.
On September 6, 2013 Joey proposed to me with some cupcakes from our favorite cupcake truck. Of course I said YES! I made him take 967,856 silly selfies with me to capture the moment. In reality, I just didn’t want the night to end.
On April 26, 2014 we got married at the Saint Leo Abbey and began our journey as Mr. and Mrs. Thompson.
On August 17, 2015 we welcomed our baby girl Ava Lynn Thompson into this world. She weighed 6 lbs and was 19 inches long. We are truly blessed!
We’ve spent the past few years enjoying life with our little girl Ava, who is now two.
