Today, I wanted to give you a tour of Ava’s new toddler room. There are some things that still need to be added, like little details here and there but this is what we have so far. I’m pretty sure I love her toddler room more than I did her nursery.
Two of my favorite things in her room are, the reading nook, and the large area rug from Lorena Canals Rugs. The reading nook is perfect for her to get cozy in to read a book and she LOVES playing on the large area rug. Originally, I had planned on using the rug in Zoey’s nursery but it goes much better in Ava’s toddler room. My favorite thing about this rug is that it’s machine washable and fits in our washing machine at home. So Ava can play on it and I don’t have to worry about spot cleaning it.
I’m in the process of completely a gold mirror DIY to go above her dresser. However, it’s on hold right now. I’m not sure if I’m going to put the mirror there or maybe some of IKEA’s ribba white picture frames with some of our favorite photos in them. She loves looking at photos and they have more sentimental value than a mirror so I’m leaning more towards those. We shall see.
Overall, I LOVE her room and we have so much fun playing in it and watching her imagination run wild.
