Baby Must Haves

This post is sponsored by my friends at DockATot, The Ollie World, Lorena Canals Rugs, Binxy Baby, and Nanobebe. All opinions are 100% my own.
While preparing for baby number 2 I did some research on the most current baby must haves and this is what I found.

1. DockATot – These are amazing and definitely one of my favorite baby must haves! We have a DockATot Grand for Ava that she still uses for nap time and some nights to put in her toddler bed. For baby girl we have their deluxe size. These are great for resting, co-sleeping, cuddling, playing, changing a diaper, supervised tummy time, lounging and so much more. One of my most favorite things about them is they are easy to clean and very portable and easy to move around the house or to take to the grandparents house.

I also love how they have toy arches and toy sets that attach to the DockATot for an easy play time.

A few other things to know…

  • Two sizes (Deluxe for 0-8 Months, Grand 9-36 months)
  • Tested for breathability
  • OEKO-TEX certified
  • All natural, 100% cotton
  • Ideal micro-climate for babies and tots
  • Grand is perfect for toddler bed transitions

2. The Ollie World Smarter Swaddle – I’m absolutely in love with this swaddle. I love how it works and the story behind it. This swaddle is made from custom moisture-wicking material to reduce the risk of overheating. I can tell you right now I will already sleep a little better knowing this. With the swaddles we used with our first daughter she always got so hot and I was so afraid of her overheating. Thankfully, with this Smarter Swaddle I won’t have to worry about that happening.

A few other things to know…

  • Custom fit to allow for fit to be individualized to meet the needs and size of each little one
  • Easy access diaper changes accessible through opening at the bottom (AMAZING!!! You don’t have to remove the whole swaddle to change a diaper.)
  • One-size promotes ease with transitional stages

3.) Lorena Canals Rugs – Two words that make these rugs amazing, MACHINE-WASHABLE! With babies and toddlers running around, rugs that are machine-washable and can fit into a standard washer and dryer are a must! We have this rug in the nursery and it’s so soft and beautiful. Ava and her baby sister can play on it and because it’s machine washable I won’t have to worry about spills or messes ruining it.

A few other things to know…

  • Made in India, designed in Spain
  • All natural dyes, handmade, eco and contain no VOCs like most carpeting and rugs
  • Proceeds support the Sakula project, and provide schooling for children in India.

4. Bixny Baby Shopping Cart Hammock – I actually discovered these once Ava was a toddler and was so sad I didn’t find them sooner. These have to be one of the coolest things ever. It’s a shopping cart hammock for the baby.  It  easily clips onto most carts, hangs elevated so you have plenty of room for groceries, then simply rolls up to fit in your purse or diaper bag when finished. How cool is that?

A few other things to know…

  • Fits most standard grocery store carts
  • Holds car seat and supports up to 50 pounds in weight
  • Used for babies approx. 6-8 months until they sit up on their own
  • Safety tested

5. Nanobebe Breastfeeding Baby Bottle System– If you plan on breastfeeding your baby then these bottles are a must try. They are the first baby bottle designed to preserve essential breastmilk nutrients. These are designated feeding bottles that can be warmed quickly, without destroying the precious nutrients found in breastmilk. From pumping through storing and warming, the nanobébé bottle protects your breast milk and gives baby an experience second only to breastfeeding itself.

A few other things to know…

  •  Breastmilk Bottles – designed to preserve breastmilk nutrients
  • Smart Warming Bowl – unique geometry of bottle and bowl enables efficient warming of breastmilk
  • Microwave Steam Sterilizer – quickly eliminates 99.9% of household bacteria
  • Compact Drying Rack – fast, hygienic drying, slim storage

6. Hatch Baby Night Light – We have one of these in Ava’s room and we love it! It works as a night light and sound machine. It can be controlled from touch or from your phone. In the mornings, I usually turn the white noise up from my phone so Ava doesn’t hear me moving around in the kitchen. We want to purchase another one for the nursery.

7. Baby Shusher – I actually discovered this product at a recent baby shower I attended. This is an on the go baby soother.
