During spring break I was able to complete this fun DIY celery stamped tea towel. I made one for me and then gifted the others.
This DIY was made using celery for the flowers and a paint brush for the leaves. I got this Pinterest idea from Leona Lane. When it comes to a DIY I am all about easy and inexpensive. This seemed easy enough for me and I already had all the materials at home. My leaves are kind of a mess because I didn’t have the right paint brush for it and I am not a very good painter. My painting skills pretty much stop at stick figures. Anyhow, I figured the leaves add character to the tea towels.
Sometimes the celery didn’t stamp as big of a flower as I wanted so I used one piece of celery to add a few extra pedals.
I had these cute little baskets from last year and used them for the tea towels to give as gifts.
These are a perfect for a Mother’s day gift or just because! I had so much fun making them! Thank you Leona Lane for the idea!
