Last weekend, we headed towards Dade City for some Saturday Adventures outside. Our first stop was the Sunflower Maze at Sweetfields Farm in Brooksville, Florida.
We all had such a fun time. Before we started our journey through the maze we walked around and checked out all of their animals. Ava was able to see some pigs…
This guy is living the life!
After the pigs we saw some silly goats.
Then Ava got to feed a cow. She loved the cow.
Then we decided to start our adventure through the maze. The maze was a lot of fun! I thought they would have signs and arrows showing you where to go but they didn’t. They gave you a list of questions to answer at each stop. There were 7 signs total and seven questions. The answer you chose determined whether or not you went in the right direction.
We decided to let Dad lead the way…
We may or may not have used Google to help us answer one of the questions. Well we considered it more like checking our answer. Thank goodness for Dad because I would have never gotten us out of that maze!
I learned that it wasn’t a great idea to feed Ava yogurt for breakfast that day. All of the walking and bouncing around caused her to spit up her yogurt. I kept thinking what is that smell? Why does this smell so horrible? Yay…it was yogurt. Warning: Yogurt and heat don’t mix! But Ava was such a trooper throughout the maze. She didn’t cry one time.
Ava loved the sunflowers! She completely missed the sign that read, “You pick, you pay.”
After going down only one dead end we made it through the maze! If it wasn’t for Dad I don’t think we ever would have made it out!
Our maze adventure was so much fun!
