We’re headed back to the beach this weekend. My husband’s side of the family is having their annual family reunion in Jacksonville and we’re going to stay at the beach while we’re there.
ONE. I asked for tips on what to bring to the beach with a toddler and baby in tow and I received so many great suggestions! Unfortunately, we haven’t had a chance to get any of the items suggested so we’re going to rock it with what we have. Which includes, bathing suits, sand buckets, beach blanket, a soft cooler, sunscreen and thats about it. I will be picking up some baby powder to help get the sand off the girls. That was the number one recommended thing! TWO. After sharing about Ava LOVING her red tutu and wearing it just about every day when she gets home from school, I received a recommendation to check out the book, Lola Dutch for Ava. This looks like the cutest book! I already have it in my Amazon cart to purchase for her birthday. Although, I’m not sure I can wait until then.
THREE. These chips are AMAZING. I can seriously go through a bag in one day, which I have done several times. I’ve found them in the deli section at Publix.
FOUR. As I was scrolling through my photos on my phone I stumbled across this fun DIY Tea Towel project Ava and I did a few months ago using a fork as a stamp. It was a fun, kid friendly project and we gave them away as gifts. FIVE. At the beginning of the summer I mentioned on my Insta Stories about our gnat problem in our home. I know, that sounds gross, but its one of the realities of hot, humid, Florida summers. Anyhow, these little apples WORK! It’s pretty much the same concept of the vinegar in a bowl, but this just traps them better. Ok, so I don’t want to end this post talking about gnats so share with me some of your favorite children books for toddler girls.
HAPPY FRIDAY FRIENDS!
