Happy Friday! Well, happy Saturday to be exact but who is really paying attention to that anyway? Haha..
ONE. I ordered these blue light filtering glasses on Amazon and love them. Christina shared them last week and I had to give them a try. They’re super comfy and fit well on my large face. A lot of times glasses are too small for my face and tight around my ears which later ends up giving me headaches but these are perfect and they work! They’ve helped reduce my headaches from looking at a screen all day.
TWO. We gave Ava these games for Christmas and we’ve really enjoyed playing them as a family. Greedy Granny is such a fun game and definitely one of her favorites. She loves it when Granny’s false teeth come flying out. Her second favorite is definitely the fishing game. What are some of your family’s favorites?
THREE. I hate to admit this but our glass shower doors in our master bathroom were awful! They were so dirty you couldn’t see through them anymore. I tried getting them clean with so many different products including one I found on TV and nothing worked. Yes, I did the vinegar trick and still no success. Finally, I tried Limeout. Somehow, I randomly had a bottle in our home and decided to give it a try. I’m happy to report that it WORKED and it worked really well! I was amazed! I do recommend wearing a mask and opening the windows but if you’re looking for something to get the job done quickly then definitely give it a try.
FOUR. I shared this shampoo a few weeks ago and promised to report back. Well I’ve enjoyed the shampoo but it hasn’t really helped me with my problem of super oily hair after a day. Usually my hair could go a couple days without being washed, but here lately I’m lucky to make it to the end of the day without super oily hair and that’s with dry shampoo. I’m not sure what’s going on.
FIVE. My husband found this self watering planter from Lowe’s the other day for around $8. I decided to use it for my money tree and see how it does. So far I’m impressed! I did add some spray paint to dress it up a little. It was solid black before.
SIX. Our household has been pretty sick lately. My husband had the flu, then our toddler was sick, I’ve been sick and now I think the baby is getting sick. Anyhow, Ava threw up on the large area rug we have in our living room. We used carpet cleaner to clean it up but the vomit smell still lingered so I tried baking soda. I covered the area heavily with baking soda and let it sit for 24 hours. Then I used our shop vacuum to vacuum up the baking soda. I’m so happy to say that IT WORKED! Isn’t baking soda the best? It works for so many different things and it’s safe!
Side note about baking soda…did your parents make you brush your teeth with baking soda when you were little? My parents did. Uhhh that was the worst!
That’s it for the week. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend friends.
