Happy Friday Friends…
TWO. Hibiscus Tea – I’ve been caffeine free for a few weeks now and this hibiscus tea has been my saving grace. You can find the recipe below.
Hibiscus Tea Recipe
- Luzianne Hibiscus Tea
- A splash of Torani Vanilla Syrup
- Lime wedge
THREE. Our Current Favorite Baby Items – There are two baby products that I’m LOVING lately. One is the Nose Frida. I seriously use this EVERY DAY with Zoey. It’s amazing! The second is this floor seat. We use it all the time now with Zoey and she loves it just like her big sister did when she was little. My favorite thing is it folds flat which makes it easier to travel with and store at home.
FOUR. The Minimalist Kitchen – I’ve been cooking from this cookbook lately and I’ve really enjoyed it! There are some really yummy recipes in her book. I love her suggestions on how to set up your kitchen to make things easier and ways to meal prep.
FIVE. The Zoo – We have memberships to the Tampa Lowry Zoo and I’m pretty sure Ava’s favorite thing there is the POPCORN! Haha! We finally caved and got her the souvenir bucket. The good thing is it’s only $2 refills. If you live locally I highly recommend the Tampa Lowry Zoo. It’s such a great Zoo and so much for kids to do and see. This last time we packed our own lunch and snacks and ate at their picnic tables inside. We usually bring our lunch so we can splurge on things like popcorn. We arrive early and stay for a couple of hours, eat lunch and then head home. We use this fan to keep Zoey cool.
SIX. Last Day of Maternity Leave – That’s right, today is my last day of maternity leave. So sad, but I’m also ready to get back to work and find our new normal. The past two weeks I have been relaxing and snuggling with Zoey while binge watching Hallmark movies. It’s been wonderful.
SEVEN. Toddler Fall Capsule Wardrobe – I wanted to give an update on Ava’s Fall Capsule Wardrobe. This is our first time ever doing a capsule wardrobe and I LOVE IT! It has made things so much easier like getting her ready for school and laundry. It has also prevented me from impulse buying. I don’t feel the need to randomly buy her clothes she doesn’t need. You can find out more about her capsule wardrobe here. This is probably one of my favorite pieces from her capsule wardrobe.
