ONE. Ava’s Easter basket. This year Ava is obsessed with anything and everything Frozen, so the Easter Bunny will be bringing her a Frozen beach towel ($10 at Target), Frozen pajamas ($7 at Walmart), seamless socks (tired of fighting more battles), maybe this little crown and a few pieces of candy and some fruit snacks.
If you’re looking for some amazing books for your little one’s basket I highly recommend any of these. Ava has a few of them and LOVES them!
TWO. Easiest Easter Candy Chocolate Bark. This is one of my favorite recipes because it’s so easy. You simply just use white chocolate morsels to make the base for the bark, and your favorite Easter candy. So delicious! It’s also super cute and great to give away as gifts.
THREE. My favorite green bean recipe. If you’re looking for a side dish for your Easter Sunday meal then definitely check out my Brown Sugared Green Beans with Bacon. I’ve made it fresh green beans and canned green beans. It’s delicious either way!
FOUR. BBQ BLENDS for summer. Last weekend, we tried Urban Accents BBQ Blends and they were so delicious.
FIVE. Trick to the Juiciest Chicken. I am the queen at making the driest chicken. I mean, I know how to cook the heck out of some chicken. Except for last weekend, I finally cooked juicy chicken breast in the oven. I baked the chicken on 450 degrees for 20 minutes and flipped the chicken halfway through the cooking time. These were normal size boneless skinless chicken breast and they were so good!
SIX. Trader Joe’s Mandarin Orange Chicken. During my spring break I stopped by Trader Joe’s on our way home from the beach. I had a cooler in the car and decided to stock up on some of their frozen food. We tried their Mandarin Orange Chicken and it was no surprise why it is their number one selling product in all of their stores! It was so good!!!! We baked ours in the oven as recommended from the cashier and it was delicious. To me it tastes just like the orange chicken at Panda Express.
SEVEN. Lumi Bloom Lamp. We recently received this Lumi Bloom Lamp and Ava loves it! She calls it her tree and says, “Momma, I’m going to turn on my tree.” With hundreds of different transformations and soft light it’s perfect for Ava’s room.
That’s it for this week. Happy weekend friends!
