We spent the weekend celebrating birthdays, eating crawfish, relaxing and remembering those who have sacrificed for our country and our freedom.
Friday night we celebrated my mother in-laws birthday with our favorite Pineapple Upside Down Cake and fresh fried chicken from Popeyes! Oh, so good!
The next morning we headed to Orlando to meet up with my family for a crawfish boil and to celebrate my wonderful momma’s birthday! My older brother T.J. , had about 110 lbs of crawfish from Louisiana . Of course, in true Strazi family style there were lots of leftovers. I hear my Dad might be whipping up a batch of etouffee.
Ava said crawfish are, “BIG bugs!”This was Joey’s first time eating crawfish. The crew…The cooks…thank goodness the rain stayed away long enough for us to enjoy the day. My sweet momma! My mom’s birthday was on Sunday. I can’t tell you enough how special she is to me. It was super windy that day so Zoey just chilled out in her stroller for most of the day. Ava got to spend some time with her cousin Easton. She was SO excited to see him. They’re too cute together. Look at all of this personality! We are beyond thankful for the men and women who fight for our country and for their sacrifice, because of them we are able to have weekends like this with our families in the land of the free. We are truly blessed!
