Last weekend, we stayed a few days at the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa in Orlando for a little weekend staycation.
After the week we had with having to put our dog down it was a much needed weekend getaway. The Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa is in the perfect location. They’re only one mile from Disney Springs and offer a shuttle that will take you to your theme park destination.
We arrived Friday afternoon and checked into our room. We stayed in one of their two bedroom, two bath suites, with a jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom, a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer.
As soon as we entered our room Ava made herself feel right at home.
Saturday morning we woke up early and headed straight to their beautiful pool. Their pool has a giant pirate ship in the middle! How cool is that? There is actually a slide that goes through the pirate ship and into the pool.
After some fun pool time we headed to my parents house for my Dad’s 4th of July cookout. My parents live about 30 minutes from the resort so that worked out perfectly. We enjoyed lots of delicious bar-b-que, with all the fixins’ and had a wonderful time with the family celebrating our great country.
Later that afternoon we headed back to the resort to get ready for our massages at the Reflections Spa and Salon located at the resort. Since we had Ava our massages were scheduled at different times. I went first and then Joey followed after me. I love that their spa is open until 8. That gives you time to enjoy the day out and about and then conclude it with a nice relaxing massage. The massage was wonderful and their spa is beautiful. I recommend reading their FAQ on their website to get the full experience of their spa.
Sunday morning, we visited the pool one more time before heading home and did some shopping at the outlet mall next door to the resort.
We had a great 4th of July weekend and enjoyed our stay at the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa.
